Who are we?
We are a family owned company, started in 2012 by Allan, Marie & Barry Tree.
We manufacture LED Tube Lights locally, in Gauteng, South Africa.
Why
We identified a need in the market for quality, sustainable, yet affordable LED lighting.
We had to respond to fierce pricing competition. Imported LED light fitting are excessively priced and lack the quality and value sought by any South African consumer.
Long waiting periods for imports lead to disappointment and creates a demand and supply lag which ultimately leads to uninterested or dissatisfied customers.
Our Vision
Our aim is to enable all South African consumers, private and commercial to afford, eco-friendly and “green” lighting without reducing value and quality.
Our Mission
We have invested in the necessary machinery and equipment to manufacture LED Lighting locally. Sourcing local manufacturers will remain a big focus for us as it will assist us in reaching our goals and objectives which is to bring LED lighting to every commercial and private consumer in S.A.
Where are we now
Our T8 LED tubes have been tested by SABS under test specification SANS 60598 attached hereto.
The main advantages of LED Tubes compared to conventional Fluorescent tubes are the power saving factor which gives you immediate savings of 50% from the first monthly bill.
Not taking into consideration the various types of Fluorescent ballasts available, Our T8 LED tubes will increase the power saving with an additional 20%.
Our LED tube also runs at a power factor of 0.97 which is exceedingly better than the conventional counterpart which runs around 0.5
